Jojo's Fashion Show 2 Lite by iwin, Inc.

Dress models for fashion shows and photo shoots in this three level demo of the fifty level game (on sale, coincidentally, for $1.99) Jojo and Rosalind, a mother-daughter designing team, have started up a new label called Las Cruces. Help them to garner attention with their designs at two fashion shows in hopes of getting a photo spread in a magazine to further their goals and regain their footing in the fashion world.

Before each fashion show, you are a list of criteria to meet two looks on opposite ends of the spectrum: the first show is Bollywood-inspried looks in bright, draping fabrics, and 50s Sock Hop-inspired looks with flared, knee-length poodle skirts and saddle shoes, and the second show is more straight-forward with a Provocative look by pairing cropped tops with tight, ripped jeans and towering heels, and the Conservative look with knee-length skirts and button-up blouses.

Dress each model in the clothes that match some of the same criteria as you were given on the list (more guidelines than anything) to receive more points and a star rating. Dress five models per show. To get that photo shoot, you need at least three out of five stars. To get more bonus points, try to match the 'signature' looks provided at the beginning of each show, after the criteria list. The outfits are always within sight on the screen, so you don't have to memorize them or anything.

If you do manage to catch the photographer's attention and secure the shoot, you'll be given a line of models dressed in your clothes. To take the pictures, you're to select one of the categories along the top of the screen and tilt your device to the left or right to pan across. I had such a hard time getting good shots, the screen slid so fast! I didn't do very well on that level, for sure.

All in all, this was a very fun little demo that will give players a chance to both learn a bit about fashion and have the freedom to create their own looks, something I've found lacking in similar fashion apps. I did feel it went a bit too quickly— but that was because it was fun, not because it was too short to get a feel for the game! I would definitely pay for the full version. 4/5
