Game Review: Kings Corners
Kings Corners by Illium Software

Though I've never actually played King's Corners (the solitaire game), this game is apparently a variant on that theme: Your goal is to place all 12 face cards in their appropriate slots on the game table.
Flip through a full deck of cards one card at a time— each card must be placed on the table. Aces and numbered cards can go anywhere on the table, but face cards must go in their labeled place. Once each spot is filled, you are free to remove cards. You can only remove cards from the table by matching pairs that add up to ten— ten cards can be removed by themselves. If you wish, you can continue to place cards on the table again, even if there are still pairs left on the table. If you draw a face card you cannot place, or if all slots are filled and you cannot match up and remove, the game is over.
The game offers two levels of difficulty: Novice (which gives you six open slots in the middle) and Expert (which gives you only four open slots).

One part skill, two parts sheer luck, this game is ridiculously addicting. Though I lost nearly every game I played when I first gave this game a try, the more and more I play, the better I've been getting. Games are very quick, averaging between two and five minutes.
