Gravity Well by Genius Factor Games, Inc.

gw-title
Gravity Well is a maze-like, gravity-based game, in which you have to avoid obstacles in order to reach the goal area. It's sort of similar to mini golf, actually. With some pinball thrown in.

The game offers 36 stages. Each stage can have one or more of the following obstructions: lasers, spikes, zappers, and crushers.

This game is touch-based, so you touch the area of the screen where you want the ball to go and it will (depending on how close or far away you touch) move over to that direction quickly or slowly.

You gain more points depending on how many touches you had to use to get to the goal, and also on how fast you make it through, and how many lives you have left (you start each level with four), in addition to the difficulty of the level.

This game is developed based on a bubble wrap gaming principal; you know how bubble wrap is almost addictive? Everyone picks it up and starts popping! This game is like that – on purpose.

It's easy to get the hang of moving around and navigating for at least 10 or so levels and then the challenge level starts to ramp up quickly.

This title offers an exclusive soundtrack from the award-winning Humble Brothers, who have created seventeen tracks for the game.

A portion of all sales of the game go directly to these worthy causes: BC SPCA, Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and the Yukon, and the Canadian Cancer Society.

The good: Fantastic soundtrack! Great easy to use controls. Unique concept that works well on the iPhone. Addictive game play!

The bad: The first few levels go by so quickly that once you get on to the harder levels, it can become aggravating when you get stuck. Or a good challenge that adds a lot to the longevity of the game.

The breakdown: Great game! Great soundtrack! Great causes supported! I highly recommend this game. For $3.99, it's a bargain, and you'll feel good about it, too!
