BargainBin 1.0 by App Advice

Here's a useful app to save you money!

I've purchased more than a few apps and then had the price decrease! While it's not breaking the bank, with the amount of apps we review, that sort of thing can really add up.

Enter BargainBin, which is a new entry into the tracking app pricing category. The premise is simple. The app scrapes the latest price changes from the app store and shows them every day. Truly a valuable service.

This is a free app. Once you've downloaded it, you have a setup screen that shows you the options and then takes you to an app category list.

The category list has the same categories as the app store but arranged from most popular to least, in App Advice's opinion. Once you've selected a category, you get a list of all, with options for Bargain and Free apps in that category. The screens load quick and I've had no crashes.

When you see an app that looks enticing, you can click and hold to get options to read a description, view screenshots or email it. Just clicking takes you to the app store and the apps listing there. That takes you completely out of BargainBin so it's important to make sure you want to know more or to buy/download the app.

Next to each app listing is the current app store rating, which at least gives you a starting place for evaluation. (Hmmm, is there enough value and consumer interest for us to proceed with our own rating app?)

BargainBin will be in use at iPhoneapps-review.com every day and I would strongly suggest that you take advantage of it as well! I give this app a 5/5.
5 out of 5
