Ever find yourself in a situation where you need to work, but can't block out distractions?

You don't want to use music, because while that helps, it's too easy to drift off and start singing or dancing along and forgetting the work you need to do. Well, Ambiance is here to help. Armed to the teeth with neutral sounds from the natual (wind, the ocean, rain) to mechanical (white/pink/brown/violet noise, freeway, trains), you can enhance your focus until the project's completion!

In Ambiance Classic, you can combine your favorite sounds (one of my favorite combinations are the rain/thunder and city sounds) or just go with one. In the settings menu, you can adjust the volume, set a timer (to shut it off, if you're using the app to help you fall asleep), add an alarm to the end of a timer, remove or hide the ambient sounds you aren't fond of. They also offer a FAQ and TroubleShooting section, to help answer any concerns you might have.

Like the graphics, meant to be simple and not an additional distraction, the application is easy to use. I think the picture they used as a background is beautiful. I've yet to have the app crash on me, and it is available for free for a limited time in the App Store. Snap this one up while you can!
