Game Review: Wolfenstein 3D Classic
Wolfenstein 3D Classic by id Software

Ah, nostalgia. Wolfenstein 3D was one of the first FPS (first person shooter) games I ever played. I loved the game back in '91 and still feel sentimental about it to this day. I had so much fun killing Nazi's and their German Shepherds. I can remember playing the demo continuously for a ridiculously long time.
id's iPhone and iPod port of this great classic features all the episodes, with sixty levels to blast your way through! You'll face-off against memorable enemies such as MechaHitler, and Hans Grosse. Tons of secret areas, weapons, health packs, and treasure to be found!
id Software founder John Carmack designed the controls, and I gotta hand it to him, he did a great job of it! There are several control options to choose from. You can use on screen buttons, tilt your device, or both!
The good: This game was great in '91, and thanks largely in part to John Carmack for his visionary control options for this port, it's still awesome today!
The bad: No more haultinsey?
The breakdown: This is a great game and definitely deserves a great rating. 5/5
