Game Review: Killer Pool Lite

Killer Pool Lite by Sauce Digital

Out of all the pool games I have played on my iPhone, I would have to say that I like Killer Pool the best. Why? Because it's the easiest to control and the best looking pool game so far.

Killer Pool Lite offers only 1 game mode: 9 ball, which is actually quite a bit of fun. The object of 9 ball is to sink the balls in order from 1-9. The computer AI isn't that good, so after playing only a few games I beat it with ease.

What really sets Killer Pool apart from all the other numerous pool apps in the store is the controls.

Simply put they are easy to learn, and when first starting the game I had no difficulty figuring out what buttons, did what. It also offers quite a few more options such as where you hit the cue ball, and the spin you want to put on it.

You can be guided by a white dotted line, or you may disable it for an added difficulty level.

The realism is also a thing that set this pool app apart from other pool games I've tried. The physics in this game are very accurate, which makes the game much more realistic and fun.

The good: Highly realistic, great easy to use controls.

The bad:: AI is a weak opponent after a few games.

The breakdown?: This is the best pool you can get with out going out to play on a real table. I strongly encourage you to check it out 4.5/5
4.5 out of 5
