Speed by Norman Cheng

speed-instructions

I don't know about you, but when I was in primary school, I owned just about everyone in my class at this game. The goal of 'Speed' is to get rid of your cards faster than your opponent.

Pretty simple. Still, it gets tough sometimes — you forget to draw and let your opponent get far ahead of you, or they just play a little too quick for you to keep up with. The game flies by in mere seconds, and it's easy to get hooked and play again and again. I love this game; not just because I'm good at it (well, actually, now that I think about it…), but because it's so fun.

Speed game play

The graphics are pretty basic, but you don't notice because you're only focused on getting your cards down — I think the simple look to the application is a plus; the game is a lot less likely to lag. Nothing's more annoying than having three cards left until you win the game, and the app takes forever to load! I've never experienced any lagging with this game, and it has yet to crash on me.

This app makes me play the favoritism card, giving it a rating of 5/5. Like card games? Give it a try, you might like it!
